So as much as I don't want to jinx it, Anders says he'll be home to go to church with me on Sunday. Course he might fall asleep since he'll have been working for many hours in the St. Lawrence River then the trip home to arrive with his ETA of 3am Sunday Morning. Most times when I get and ETA I add at least one day to it but in this case I really don't want to.
So all this still involves one Ship getting to Chicago, the Captain of that ship returning there from his holiday, the relief Captain getting a flight from there to Montreal, and relieving Anders somewhere along the St. Lawrence Seaway. Kind of a Ship Captain dance of sorts. Lets all see how the dance ends!
A further note: Just got off the phone with one Sailor who has had four hours of sleep in the past I don't know how long and yet he had the most energy I've heard him have in weeks, he is in the Welland Canal and as far as he is concerned is on his way home. I sure hope so!
Of course because of that I have got a renewed energy myself so today and tomorrow I will be crazy busy cleaning the house and making everything look as great as I can for him when he arrives home! He has been gone since August 30, I'm READY to have him home!
