Frustration

     With the countdown to Vacation comes major frustration.  You'd think, yea a vacation! I'll schedule it for October 31st and head right home!  Yeah Right, ha! Not on a ship!  First comes the problem that Anders relief is relieving on another ship right now.  The "pool" has 3 Captains, 2 Captains who share one Relief Captain.  So right now the Relief Captain has to wait for the Regular Captain of the Ship he is on to come back so that he can get off to get on Anders ship. Easy right? Heck I can't even figure it out after I typed it. ha!
     Of course another situation is they sort of like the Ships to be somewhat Close together to save some Travel money when this transfer is taking place.   So Anders is heading to Goderich and this other Ship is too to be there around the 1st , But only problem is the other Captains Vacation is over until the 4th. Course with the weather this time of year everything could change in a HEARTBEAT. Meanwhile I wait, I have the 4th circled on the calendar but I totally expect to be crossing that off and writing on another day...and time...and day...and time....
