Holidays

     My husband had me take a photo of him and his "stand in " this morning. When he did I thought how nice it would be to NOT see his stand it sitting at the Thanksgiving table this year.

Last year his stand in sat at the Thanksgiving table with us.  Anders and I have been married for 10 years and I have to admit he has been away more than home for MOST holidays since I've known him.  I always tell him he has NO idea what he is missing and am looking forward to next sailing season when he will only be away for 3 months instead of 6.  

Meanwhile it is wonderful to have him home and while I am baking up a storm for tomorrow there is someone else here to help clean the house! :)  We are both looking forward to celebrating a wonderful holiday and giving thanks for all we have in our lives.
